Ford will lead a new group of cast which consists of Nick Kroll, Pete Holmes, Tiffany Haddish, and Patton Oswalt, who is said to replace Louis C.K. after his sexual harassment controversy.

Original cast members returning for the sequel are Kevin Hart, Bobby Moynihan, Dana Carvey, Ellie Kemper, Eric Stonestreet, Hannibal Buress, Jenny Slate, and Lake Bell.

Catch Max again in "The Secret Life Of Pets" sequel next year.

It comes as no surprise that the studio behind "The Secret Life of Pets", Illumination Entertainment, would want to make a sequel, considering the movie made over USD875 million worldwide after its release.

The sequel will be directed by Chris Renaud and is scheduled for a 7 June 2019 release date across North America.
