19 Sep – Henry Golding is going for gold in Hollywood, as he's now landed the leading role for yet another romantic movie. The 31-year-old Sarawak-born actor has been cast as the male lead for Paul Feig's upcoming holiday romance, "Last Christmas". According to the Hollywood Reporter, the plot is still being kept under wraps so there are no details yet on the character he will be playing. It is only known that the movie will be set in London. His leading lady will be Emilia Clarke ("Solo: A Star Wars Story", "Me Before You", TV's "Game of Thrones"), whose character details are also undisclosed at the moment.
Golding is fast becoming one of Hollywood's sought-after leading men, ever since the English-Malaysian actor landed his first big gig as the male lead in Jon M. Chu's "Crazy Rich Asians", followed by another leading role in "A Simple Favor" alongside Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively.
