29 Jun – Opinions have been divided on whether we need a fifth "Indiana Jones" movie or we should just let the franchise lie to rest, but the team behind it believes "Indiana Jones 5" must go on – it just won't be released in 2020 as scheduled. Originally planned for a 10 July 2020 release in North America, the fifth instalment of the Harrison Ford-starring franchise has now been pushed to an indefinite date, Variety reports. Earlier it was supposed to release in 2019 but was delayed to the next year as production was later slated to begin in the U.K. in April 2019. However, latest updates state that the shooting will no longer start next spring, forcing the release date to be pushed back, if not for months then at least a year.
