22 Oct – Mark Ruffalo sure loves playing more than one onscreen character in a single project, this time the actor is showing off his versatility by starring as a pair of twins in an upcoming HBO series. "I Know This Much Is True", a 1998 best-selling novel by Wally Lamb, is getting adapted into a six-episode series with Ruffalo also executive producing it, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 50-year-old will be playing both Dominick and Thomas Birdsey. Set against the backdrop of 20th century America, the family saga follows the parallel lives of the identical twin brothers in a story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness. Derek Cianfrance ("The Place Beyond the Pines", "The Light Between Oceans") will be directing from his own script, while also serving as executive producer alongside Ruffalo.
