26 Jul – Another character has been added to the antagonist team of the live-action movie adaptation of "Mulan". The new villain, named Bori Khan, is a warrior leader intent on avenging his father's death, as described by The Hollywood Reporter. American actor Jason Scott Lee has been cast to play the villainous Khan. This means the 51-year-old actor of Chinese and Hawaiian descent will be on the same side as Chinese actress Gong Li's powerful witch character, who is the story's main villain. Lee was last seen showing off his martial arts skills in Netflix's "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny" but he is probably most well-known for starring as Bruce Lee in 1993's "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story".
Lee is no stranger to Disney works as he previously starred as Mowgli in the 1994 live-action "The Jungle Book" and also voiced David Kawena in 2002's "Lilo and Stitch" and its 2005 sequel, "Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch".
