Sherlock Holmes' sister is getting her own movies

Enola Holmes will be portrayed by "Stranger Things" breakout star Millie Bobby Brown.

10 Jan – Move aside, Sherlock, it's time for your little sister to pick up the magnifying glass and put on her sleuthing hat for the big screen.

Enola Holmes, the much younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes, is getting her own series of movies, according to Deadline.

The movies will be based on the "Enola Holmes Mysteries" novel series by Nancy Springer, which was first introduced to readers via the 2006 "The Case of the Missing Marquess". The series have proven to be just as well-received by mystery fans, with the first and fifth books even receiving Edgar Awards nominations in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

Set to star as the titular detective is 13-year-old Millie Bobby Brown, who will also be producing under her PCMA Productions banner.

This will be the second feature film Brown will be working on, also with Legendary Entertainment. Their first deal is the Madison Russell-directed "Godzilla: King of the Monsters", slated for release in 2019.

Brown is best known for her breakout role as Eleven in the Netflix series, "Stranger Things", which she will be reprising in the third season alongside co-stars Finn Wolfhard ("It") and David Harbour ("Hellboy").
