5 Jul – Yeo Siew Hua's "A Land Imagined" has been selected as part of the lineup for Bangkok ASEAN Film Festival (BAFF) 2019. Held in neighbouring country, Thailand, from 3 to 8 July, the movie will be screened at the film festival in competition for the Best ASEAN Film award. The Singapore, France and The Netherlands co-production will compete against movies such as "Fly By Night" (Malaysia), "Funan" (Cambodia) and more. Meanwhile, the multi-director anthology "7 Letters", a directorial effort that combines the works of Boo Junfeng, Eric Khoo, Jack Neo, K. Rajagopal, Kelvin Tong, Royston Tan, and Tan Pin Pin, has been picked for screening under BAFF 2019's ASEAN Showcase. It will be screening alongside movies such as "Motif" (Malaysia), "The Prey" (Cambodia) and "Friend Zone" (Thailand).
