Will Smith reveals third "Bad Boys" movie is about to begin shooting

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence said that they rewatched the previous two
"Bad Boys" movies together over the weekend.

14 Jan – Last year it was confirmed that a third "Bad Boys" movie was definitely happening and looks like there's no more roadblocks for the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence-starrer since "Bad Boys for Life" is starting its shooting tomorrow.

Smith posted a photo with his co-star on his Instagram (above) and captioned it: "First Day of Shooting tomorrow! We watched @BadBoys 1 & 2 together over the weekend. It's about to be KRAZY! #badboysforlife"

Before this photo came out, Lawrence also posted one a couple of days ago showing the two "Bad Boys" stars "goin (sic) over weapons training" in Atlanta.

"Bad Boys for Life", aimed for release on 17 January 2020 in North American cinemas, will see Smith and Lawrence reuniting as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, respectively.

When the release date was confirmed last year, the following plot was also revealed: in the third movie, the two detectives are brought together again to take down an Albanian mercenary after years of being estranged with one another.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are taking over directing duty as Michael Bay, who helmed both the 1995 and 2003 movies, will not be returning to direct.
