15 Jun – The well-loved Tom Hanks was supposed to have three movies releasing in cinemas this year but the pandemic has unfortunately thwarted this plan. After his war movie "Greyhound" was delayed and forced to make a shift from the big screen to the small screen, now yet another of his 2020 titles has to face some changes, according to Screen Rant. "BIOS", a Hanks-starrer directed by "Game of Thrones" helmer Miguel Sapochnik, is delaying its North American release from 2 October 2020 to 16 April 2021. The move was made by Universal after Warner Bros. pushed back "Wonder Woman 1984" to the 2 October date, moving the Gal Gadot-starrer from its previous 14 August schedule. Now Hanks' sci-fi film will no longer face competition from the "Wonder Woman" sequel, but it will still be competing with the Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson-starring "Reminiscence" on its new April date.
