Chris Pratt to return to TV with Antoine Fuqua-helmed series


Chris Pratt has mostly been seen starring on the big screen recently,
starring in major franchises like MCU's "Guardians of the Galaxy".

5 Feb – Fans who've been missing Chris Pratt on the small screen will be happy to know actor is planning a return to TV in a new series, "The Terminal List".

Said to be a conspiracy thriller, The Hollywood Reporter brought word that the series will feature Pratt as both lead actor and executive producer.

This will be also be a reunion for Pratt with his "The Magnificent Seven" director, Antoine Fuqua, who will be helming the pilot and also executive producing. The duo brought the adaptation of Jack Carr's novel of the same name to MRC Television, who will be producing it alongside Civic Center Media.


Also serving as executive producer with the duo is David DiGilio, who will be penning the script.

"The Terminal List" will star Pratt as Lieutenant Commander James Reece, who returns home with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. However, he discovers dark forces working against him when new evidence comes to light.

There is currently no network attached to the series.

It's been five years since Pratt last led a TV series, after sitcom "Parks and Recreation" ended with its seventh season in February 2015. The 40-year-old has since been busy on the big screen leading major titles, including appearing in four MCU movies, starring in the new "Jurassic World" franchise and voicing main characters in animated films.

He will be seen leading sci-fi action movie "The Tomorrow War" this December, which also marks his debut as producer, and will be heard soon voicing one of the two elf brothers alongside fellow MCU star Tom Holland in "Onward".
