12 May – The ongoing court case between Johnny Depp and ex-wife, Amber Heard, has long put both their acting careers in jeopardy, though the latter has been faring a little better than the former. However, while things might have been going swimmingly for Heard for a while, with her even landing a role a major film franchise, her Hollywood career might slowly be sinking too.
Emilia Clarke proves to be most of the fans' favourite as Heard's replacement. If Clarke does get cast, it'll be a reunion with her "Game of Thrones" co-star Jason Momoa, who stars in "Aquaman" as the titular superhero. The 33-year-old English actress is no stranger to Hollywood film franchises as she's starred in "Terminator Genisys" and "Solo: A Star Wars Story". Since "Aquaman 2" is only slated for release in December 2022, there's still plenty of time for Warner Bros. and director James Wan to seal a deal with Clarke or find another actress if Heard really is fired. Heard fans, don't worry, these are just rumours for now. Actor and Heroic Hollywood owner Umberto Gonzalez recently tweeted, "No, Amber Heard did not "get fired" off of AQUAMAN 2." For the moment, we'll have to just wait and see whether anyone from the studio or movie will clarify the matter.
