20 May – It's been a while since Halle Berry landed herself a starring role in a major movie, so it's a welcome news for fans when it was announced that the actress will be seen leading a sci-fi disaster thriller soon. Variety reported that the 53-year-old has been cast to star in Roland Emmerich's "Moonfall", which, as the title indicates, will be a movie set in outer space. Berry's character will be a NASA astronaut-turned-administrator, whose previous space mission holds a clue about an imminent cosmic disaster. In the movie, she joins a ragtag team that is trying to save humanity after the moon is knocked from its orbit and is sent on a collision course with Earth.
