24 Jul - With the delay of Christopher Nolan's "Tenet", Disney's "Mulan" was set to reignite cinemas worldwide, however that may not be the case anymore. "Mulan" has been officially delayed from its 21 August 2020 release date, as the Coronavirus rages in the U.S. forcing many big cinema exhibitors to remain closed, and thus affecting the cinema market as a whole. There is no new release date announced for the live-action film that has been delayed for four times now. "Over the last few months, it's become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for 'Mulan' as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world," a Disney spokesperson said as reported by Variety. In addition, Disney also stated that their planned three new "Star Wars" films - details of which are still kept in secrecy - are moved up a year to 23 December 2023, 19 December 2025 and 17 December 2027.
