2 May – Good news for fans of the "Now You See Me" franchise, Lionsgate is moving forward with its plans for a third magical movie. "Now You See Me 3" is no new news for fans, talks of it being produced have been around since 2015. In fact, director Jon M. Chu, who helmed the second movie, announced his return to the director's seat back in 2016, before "Now You See Me 2" was even theatrically released. Despite the sequel's box office success, however, the third movie remained mysteriously missing from Lionsgate's slates – until now. Screen Rant reported that the studio is planning to bring back the star-studded cast in their respective roles, which include Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Daniel Radcliffe, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and possibly both Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan (who replaced Fisher in the sequel) as well.
