3 Mar – A portion of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's "Red Notice" was originally scheduled to be filmed in Italy. However, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country, filming there might not proceed. Deadline is reporting that Netflix is currently considering other locations. There's no confirmation yet but this might mean a slight delay if script revision needs to be done.
"Red Notice" was previously scheduled for a November 2020 release but after Netflix took over from Universal Pictures last July as the distributing company, it has yet to receive a confirmed release date. Italy currently has the highest coronavirus cases of any country outside of Asia, according to CNN, with more than 1,600 cases confirmed and 34 deaths reported. The outbreak has prompted the postponement of the annual Udine Far East Film Festival and also halted the filming of Tom Cruise's "Mission: Impossible 7".
