27 Apr – Now that both Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have recovered from COVID-19 after testing positive for it last month, they are lending a hand to medical professionals' effort to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus. They are doing so by volunteering to donate their blood and plasma for coronavirus research, according to Variety. It was revealed by Hanks himself on NPR's podcast "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!" last week, where he even joked that he already has a name for the vaccine. "A lot of the questions [are] what do we do now? Is there something we can do? And, in fact, we just found out that we do carry the antibodies," he said.
