7 Apr – Fans who are excited about the upcoming sequel to the hit 2002 "Aankhen" will be sad to find out that lead actor Amitabh Bachchan has opted out from the project. Bachchan, who was slated to join the cast of the Abhinay Deo movie, reportedly withdrew from the project alongside co-star Sidharth Malhotra following the long delay between the time they signed the contract to the production of the movie itself.
It is noted that the veteran star has also recently signed on to star in the remake of the 2015 Hollywood movie, "The Intern" alongside Deepika Padukone. He is also set to promote another one of his new movies, "Chehre" - co-starring Emraan Hashmi and Krystle D'souza. The 2002 "Aankhen" stars Bachchan as a fired bank employee who decides to take vengeance against his employers by organising a full-on heist, and having the same bank robbed by three blind men, as no one will suspect them.
