21 Oct - After several live-action movies, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" is now coming to Disney+ in an animated version.
The series, like the books, follow the adventures of "wimpy" middle school student, Greg Heffley as he learns to deal with life's struggles. The first live-action film was released in 2010, titled "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", followed by three more instalments with the last one, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul" released in 2017. The first three movies star Zachary Gordon as Greg, while the 2017 film has Jason Drucker replacing the said actor.
