26 Nov – Disney is upping the ante for the year 2022 by announcing that it will be spending USD 33 billion on new content. The news was announced by the House of Mouse in its annual report, stating that the money will be spent on all groups of the conglomerate – which is USD 8 billion more than last year's total spending.
Disney will also have multiple movies releasing next year, from Marvel titles like "Thor: Love and Thunder" and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", animated features like Pixar's "Turning Red" and "Lightyear", as well as other movies like "Death on the Nile" and "Avatar 2". Nonetheless, it is still a high number of new titles, seeing that only 60 new titles were released this year.
