24 Aug – The cinema industry mourns the loss of the Chairman of Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), General (Rtd) Tan Sri Datuk Amar (Dr) Mohd Ghazali Dato' Mohd Seth, who passed away earlier this morning. A shining beacon for exemplary and inspiring leadership, Tan Sri Ghazali was the cornerstone for GSC and the cinema industry. He had served on the GSC board for over 25 years since taking up the role in 1996.
