14 Jun – "The Good Place" actress Jameela Jamil has been cast in the upcoming Marvel Disney+ series, "She-Hulk". According to Collider, the 5 ft. 11 Pakistani-British actress will reportedly play the role of Titania, a long-time nemesis of the titular character, which will be played by Tatiana Maslany ("Orphan Black"). The actress will be joining the likes of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth in the reprised role of Emil Blonsky/Abomination from 2008's "The Incredible Hulk", Ginger Gonzaga as Walters' best friend, and Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia.
"She-Hulk" will revolve around Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner, who unwittingly inherited his gamma-infused power upon receiving a blood transfusion from the said Avenger. However, unlike Banner, Walters is able to retain control over her intelligence and emotions in her Hulk form. The series, which is being developed as a ten half-hour episodes, will be released on Disney+ in 2022. Aside from the said project, Jamil will soon be seen in the upcoming movie, "Marry Me".
