8 Nov – With "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" coming to an end, it was reported that the daily talk show's slot could be replaced with none other than Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson herself. According to Collider, the singer-actress is reportedly on the way to create a new syndicated daytime talk show with Warner Bros. and Telepictures, which is scheduled to be released next year.
The actress is no stranger to daytime projects, having won a Daytime Emmy award this year for the show she executive produced, "Baba Yaga". It is noted that "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" announced back in May this year that the show's 19th season would be its last, with the first episode of the show premiering on 13 September. The announcement came amid allegations of the show being a toxic workplace filled with racist comments and microaggressions.
