Zack Snyder's "Justice League" unveils new trailer

16 Feb – After much anticipation, the new trailer of Zack Snyder's "Justice League" was finally unveiled, much to the delight of fans awaiting the project for the past couple of years.

The trailer, which was released by HBO Max on 15 February, revealed the darker tone of Snyder's vision, which is very different from the one helmed by Joss Whedon when the latter took over from the filmmaker back in 2017.

It features a narration from Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, who will also appear in the new version, as well as new looks at Superman, Jared Leto's Joker, and other characters that have been left out or reduced from the previous film, including The Flash and Iris West.

Cyborg, which did not make enough screen time in the theatrical cut - partly due to Ray Fisher's conflict with Joss Whedon - is now "the heart" of Zack Snyder's Justice League, as the filmmaker himself expressed. There is a likelihood that audiences will get to see Vic Stone before he was Cyborg in the upcoming release.

One of the biggest alterations from Whedon's movie to Snyder's version also comes in the form of the main villain, Steppenwolf, alongside others like Darkseid, Desaad, and Granny Goodness. This time, it looks like fans will be able to get a look at Darkseid himself, as Steppenwolf approaches him on their planet of Apokolips.

The upcoming feature will be a four-hour long continuous film that will be streaming on HBO Max on 18 March.
