23 Nov – Kamal Haasan recently admitted that he has been tested positive for COVID-19.

The Tamil superstar shared the news on Twitter on 21 November, writing, "I had a light cough after returning from my US trip. Was confirmed having COVID-19 upon testing. I have isolated myself at a hospital."

Kamal also reminded fans to always remember that the pandemic is not over yet and to behave accordingly.


"Stay safe," he added.

It is noted that the actor was in Chicago, Illinois last week to launch his fashion brand, House of Khaddar.

Prior to that, Kamal had been busy filming his new movie, "Vikram", which co-stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi. He was also supposed to rejoin the cast at the next shooting location, Coimbatore.
