25 May – Four years after he made his exit from Hollywood amid his multiple sexual assault charges, it was revealed that Kevin Spacey is making his acting comeback with an Italian film.

Director Franco Nero recently announced that he is set to direct Spacey in his new movie, "L'uomo Che Disegno Dio" ("The Man Who Drew God"), which will also co-star Nero's wife, Vanessa Redgrave.

"I'm very happy Kevin agreed to participate in my film," Nero told ABC News. "I consider him a great actor and I can't wait to start the movie."

The movie reportedly will revolve around a blind artist who acquires a godlike ability to draw portraits of people based on their voices, and has been accused of sexually abusing children. Spacey plays a detective investigating the case.

Kevin Spacey left his Netflix show after the many sexual misconduct allegations against him

Spacey was ousted from his Netflix show, "House of Cards" in 2017 after he was accused of sexual misconduct against at least 20 young men between 1995 and 2013 while he was the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre in London. Spacey has denied all the accusations. The allegations were first sparked by "Star Trek: Discovery" actor Anthony Rapp, who claimed that the actor made inappropriate advances on him when he was just 14.

In 2018, Spacey was charged with indecent assault stemming from an alleged 2016 incident with a teenager in Massachusetts. The alleged victim later dropped his civil lawsuit against him.

Spacey's last movie was the 2018's "Billionaire Boys Club", which was made before the accusations came to light, and released after. The film was a flop.
