27 Apr – A day after the original film won Best International Feature at the Oscars, it was revealed that it has already been acquired for a Hollywood remake starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

The movie, directed by Danish filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg and stars Mads Mikkelsen, was already a sought-after project even before the movie won the aforementioned accolade at the recently held Academy Awards.

However, it was DiCaprio's company Appian Way that won the bid alongside Endeavor Content and Brad Weston's Makeready.

DiCaprio reportedly will be playing the role portrayed by Mikkelsen in the original - which has been described by Deadline as "the vulnerable middle-aged man in existential crisis".

"Another Round" is a story of four middle-aged friends and teachers who decide to experiment with raising their blood alcohol as a way to make life more interesting, and how their decisions affected them and their families.
