15 Apr – "Star Wars" icon Mark Hamill has recently said yes to appear in the upcoming feature film, "The Machine" - a new project created by comedian Bert Kreischer. The actor was revealed to have inked a deal to star in the new Legendary movie, which is inspired by Kreischer's own hit stand-up routine of the same name, in which he tells the story of how he got involved with the Russian mafia while drunk during a college trip abroad.
Luke Skywalker himself shared the good news on social media, saying that he is excited about the new project but that he couldn't share much about it due to his non-disclosure agreement. The video also featured Kreischer himself, who appeared shirtless with a glass of wine. Hamill tweeted, "I think I might already regret this."
Hamill, best known for his portrayal of Luke Skywalker in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, was last seen on the big screen on "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker". He also appeared in season 2 of "The Mandalorian" last year. Check out Bert Kreischer's stand-up here, of which the movie will be based on.
