20 Oct - Disney and Marvel recently announced that several of their previously scheduled films have now been re-arranged for new dates. The two giants revealed that "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness", which was originally slated to be released on 25 March 2022, will now be delayed to 6 May 2022, resulting in Taika Waititi's "Thor: Love and Thunder", which was supposed to open on the said date, to be pushed to 8 July 2022.
17 February 2023 was originally given to "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania", which means now the film will be released instead in July 2023. The only Marvel movie that is sticking to the same release date would be "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3" on 5 May 2023. As to why the change was made, Marvel's Kevin Feige stated simply, "It's production shifts and changes, and because we have so many slots, we can just shift slots... so instead of there being three months between Marvel movies, there will be five months between Marvel movies, and I think that we can all handle it."
