16 Jul – Michael B. Jordan is set to star in another remake of the romance-thriller film, "The Thomas Crown Affair".

The actor, who will be the first black actor to play the lead, will be working alongside screenwriter Wes Tooke, whose prior works include the TV series, "Colony".

The film revolves around the titular billionaire who enjoys stealing art for a hobby, that is until he meets his match in a female insurance investigator, with the two ending up falling in love.

The original 1968 film stars Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, while its 1999 remake has James Bond-star Pierce Brosnan playing Thomas Crown and Rene Russo as his formidable foe.

Jordan already has several films and shows currently in progress, with "A Journal for Jordan" currently filming, and "Methuselah" and "What If...?" currently in post-production.

He is also set to direct the third instalment of "Creed", which is scheduled for a 2022 release.
