15 May – Millie Bobby Brown recently confirmed that there will be a sequel to her hit Netflix movie, "Enola Holmes". On 13 May, the actress posted a photo of her in her old Victorian England costume, writing, "The sequel is afoot." In a later statement to the media, the "Stranger Things" actress expressed, "I can't wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart – she's strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!"
The upcoming movie will be penned again by Jack Thorne, with Harry Bradbeer returning to direct. Aside from Brown, co-star Henry Cavill will also return as Enola's famous detective brother Sherlock. The first movie, which was released in 2020, was based on Nancy Springer's Edgar Award-nominated book series, "The Enola Holmes Mysteries", which comprises of six books in total.
