28 Jun – After insisting that his tenth movie will be his final work, filmmaker Quentin Tarantino recently revealed that he had once considered rebooting his first film, "Reservoir Dogs" as his swan song.

The director shared as much in an interview on "Real Time with Bill Maher", saying that he has thought about rebooting the said 1992 movie for some time and making it his last movie.

"I won't do it, internet! But I considered it," he then quickly added.

"Reservoir Dogs" was named the Greatest Independent Film of All Time by Empire

However, Tarantino, who is also known for great movies like "Pulp Fiction", "Kill Bill" and "Django Unchained", stated that if he did reboot the film, it would have been different than what it was.

"It's kind of a captured time in a moment, I think," he said.

As to why he decided to hang it up, Tarantino stated that after 30 years of working in movies, he has given it everything that he has.

"This is just a random example. You look at a director like Don Siegel... if he had quit his career in 1979 when he did "Escape from Alcatraz" - what a final film! What a mic drop! But he dribbles away with two more other ones, he doesn't mean it," he said.

Tarantino's most recent work was the 2019 film, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood"
