18 Aug – Amid the controversy surrounding her lawsuit against Disney, it was revealed that Scarlett Johansson has been cast in an upcoming Wes Anderson movie.

The actress, who has worked with the auteur in his 2018 stop-motion pic, "Isle of Dogs", will be joining the previously announced cast members that include Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Adrian Brody, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Rupert Friend and Tilda Swinton.

No information has been released about Johansson's character, as details about the movie itself are being kept under wraps.

The actress made headlines early this month after she decided to sue Disney over the hybrid release of Marvel's "Black Widow". She had claimed that the studio had breached her contract by its simultaneous release of "Black Widow" in theatres and on the Disney+ streaming platform as her salary is said to be largely based on box office receipts.

On the other hand, the actress is also reprising her animated character Ash in the upcoming sequel to Illumination's animated feature, "Sing".
