Dwayne Johnson to voice Krypto in DC's new animated feature

24 May – It seems that playing the titular Black Adam in the upcoming DC movie is not enough for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, as he is now working on another DC project to be helmed by his production company, Seven Bucks.

The actor recently announced on social media that he will be voicing the DC canine Krypto the Superdog in Warner Bros' upcoming animated feature, "DC League of Super-Pets".


"Big news as I know the FUN & JOY this movie will bring families worldwide," he wrote. "Thank you to our long time partners at Warner Bros & DC Comics as well as our writer/director Jared Stern - a very talented man whom I've really enjoyed collaborating with."

"From becoming Black Adam to now becoming Superman's dog, Krypto, it's a privilege to help build out our exciting [DC Comics] Universe," he added.

In the same post, Johnson revealed that he will be making another announcement to reveal the rest of the voice talents.

The Warner Bros. and Warner Animation Group project is co-directed by Sam Levine and is the first feature to star Superman's best friend.
