14 Aug – After a week in a coma following a car crash, the family of actress Anne Heche announced that she has passed away.
In a statement released to the media 12 August, the family expressed, "We have lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend. Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy."
