25 Jul – It looks like there is a new heroine in the "Ant-Man" family.
Artist Andy Park, who illustrated for 2022's San Diego Comic Con, recently shared a new poster for "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania", featuring Ant-Man in his red costume, the Wasp in yellow, and a third character wearing purple.
He wrote, "1ST look at ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA! Poster I illustrated for @MarvelStudios @Comic_Con. Honored to work again w/ @MrPeytonReed #PaulRudd @EvangelineLilly & 1st time Cassie @kathrynnewton & KANG #JonathanMajors."
It is noted that the character who wears the purple costume in the comics is Stinger/ Stature/ Ant Girl, a superhero identity of Scott Lang's daughter Cassie Lang who inherits her father's size-shifting powers.
Kathryn Newton has been cast to play the older Cassie Lang, after the character last appeared in "Avengers: Endgame", played by Emma Fuhrmann more than three years ago.
"Quantumania" is set for release in February 2023, and sets off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
