29 Apr – CinemaCon recently promised to reevaluate its security protocols following the earlier incident involving actress-director Olivia Wilde.

On 27 April, the actress found herself being served with legal documents, while she was in the middle of presentation for her movie, "Don't Worry Darling", by an individual who walked up to the stage with a manila envelope.

The actress originally thought it was a script before it was revealed to be custody documents from Wilde's former fiancé, Jason Sudeikis.

Speaking about the issue, the National Association of Theatre Owners managing director and head of CinemaCon Mitch Neuhauser stated, "To protect the integrity of our studio partners and the talent, we will reevaluate our security protocols. We will act accordingly because it's the right thing to do. We want to do the safe, proper thing."

It is noted that Wilde continued on with her presentation despite the interruption.

On the other hand, Sudeikis stated that he has no idea that Wilde would be served the papers during her presentation.

A source close to the "Ted Lasso" stated, "Mr. Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered as this would solely be up to the process service company involved and he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner."

The couple were engaged for seven years before they ended the relationship in 2020. The two have two children together.
