23 May – Universal Pictures recently announced that it has shifted the release date for their upcoming horror film, "The Last Voyage of the Demeter".

The film, which was originally scheduled for release in January 2023, will be delayed to 11 August in the same year and seems likely to be shown exclusively in theatres.

In the classic story of Bram Stoker's "Dracula", Demeter was the ship that brought Dracula from Transylvania to London. Adapted from the chapter "The Captain's Log" from the said book, the film will revolve around several characters aboard the merchant ship Demeter travelling towards London carrying unmarked wooden crates.

The film is directed by André Øvredal of "The Autopsy of Jane Dow" and "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" fame.
