13 Dec – Julie Andrews doesn't seem to be that much interested in starring in the third instalment of the "Princess Diaries" franchise.

The 87-year-old actress, who spoke to Access Hollywood recently, was asked about the possibility of her returning as Queen Clarisse Renaldi, and said that it's "probably not going to be possible".

"It was talked about very shortly after [the second sequel] came out, but it's now how many years since then? And I am that much older and Annie the princess, or queen, is so much older. And I am not sure where it would float or run," she said.

In the same interview, Andrews also said that her co-star and lead actress Anne Hathaway is a great friend of hers.

The first movie, which stars Hathaway as an American teenager finding out that she is the daughter of a crown prince, was first released in 2001. It spawned a 2004 sequel, "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement".

It was last month that THR reported Disney is developing a third movie, though Hathaway herself has not confirmed whether she will star.
