28 Apr – Although filming for the tenth instalment is currently underway, it was revealed that "Fast and Furious" helmer Justin Lin has stepped down as director. The filmmaker recently confirmed his departure in a statement to the media, that read, "With the support of Universal, I have made the difficult decision to step back as director of FAST X, while remaining with the project as a producer."
Despite no longer directing "Fast X", Lin will remain as producer. Insider alleged that he decided to do so due to creative differences. Sources also stated that the production is taking a brief pause while they are looking for Lin's replacement, with the studio reportedly in talks with several candidates. "Fast X" will see the return of many of its original cast including Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibbons and Michelle Rodriguez, and include new faces like Jason Momoa and Brie Larson.
