3 Aug - Michael Keaton has nothing too deep to say about his decision to return as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the upcoming "The Flash" movie, except that it sounds fun.

The actor, who spoke with Variety recently about donning the cape again after 30 years, stated that he was curious what it would be like after so many years when the offer came to him from Warner Bros.

"Not so much me doing it – obviously, some of that – but I was just curious about it, weirdly, socially," he said. "This whole thing is gigantic. They have their entirely own world. So, I like to look at it as an outsider, thinking 'Holy moly!'"

Aside from "The Flash", Keaton is also donning the cape for the upcoming "Batgirl" film.

In a previous interview, the actor echoed similar views about his return, adding that there is no reason for him to do it if it's not good.

"And why would you not? You know, I mean, director Andy Muschietti is fantastic, and he's really creative. I don't know. It's fun," he added.

"The Flash" is directed by Andy Muschietti of "Mama" and "IT" fame. It will see the return of Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, as well as the two iterations of Batman/Bruce Wayne from Keaton and Ben Affleck.

Meanwhile, Keaton last played the role of Batman in "Batman Returns" in 1992.
