6 Dec – '90s star Kirstie Alley has recently passed away.
The actress, most known here for movies like "Look Who's Talking", "It Takes Two" and the sitcom "Cheers", died on Monday 5 December after a short battle with cancer.
"We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered," said her children, True and Lillie Parker.
The family also thanked the doctors and nurses at the Moffitt Cancer Center for their assistance, as well as Alley's fans, whom they said have been sending them love and prayers.
Several celebrities had since taken to social media to express their sadness over the loss, including her "Look Who's Talking" co-star John Travolta, who wrote, "Kirstie was one of the most special relationships I've ever had. I love you Kirstie. I know we will see each other again."
