14 Nov – Guyanese-British actress Letitia Wright recently called her on-set accident during the filming of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" "traumatic". It was back in August 2021 that Wright was shooting a chase scene involving her and a motorbike placed on a "biscuit rig" when an accident involving the rig occurred, leaving her with a fractured shoulder and a concussion.
It is noted that Wright returned home to London after leaving the hospital in Boston to recover, but decided to return in January 2022 to finish the movie. "I just remember wanting to finish my film, man. I think that was one of the first things I said to Ryan [Coogler]. And he was like, 'Tish, you need to recover,'" she said. The actress said that she still had to contend with post-concussion syndrome after resuming the shoot, but proud of herself for completing the movie. "I'm extremely proud of Ryan, of the team, for just the resilience - overcoming adversities every step of the way. When I finished filming, I cried like a little baby," she added. "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" is now in theatres.
