20 Jul - The prequel to "The Hunger Games" has added another big star to the upcoming big screen adaptation. According to Deadline, Peter Dinklage is set to join Lionsgate's "Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes", playing the role of Casca Highbottom, dean of the Academy. He will be joining Tom Blyth, who will play the young Coriolanus Snow and Rachel Zegler as Lucy Gray Baird.
The upcoming movie revolves around Coriolanus Snow during his teen years, before he became the tyrannical President of Panem and the main villain of the original franchise. Dinklage, who is most popular for his role as Tyrion Lannister in "Game of Thrones", was most recently seen in the 2021 musical, "Cyrano".
