30 Dec – Following rumours that its second part will be released in April, the team of "Ponniyin Selvan" recently confirmed the date on social media.
The first part of the Mani Ratnam movie has already become the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2022 with USD 64 million at the box office, and also the 15th highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Part 2 reportedly will have more grandeur, and sees the return of the stars including Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, and Aishwarya Lekshmi.
