"Talbis Iblis" banned in Brunei?

17 Oct – A cinema chain in Brunei recently announced that Kabir Bhatia's new movie, "Talbis Iblis" has now been banned in the country.

On 17 October, Times Cineplex posted on its official social media an update on the film, saying, "Sorry, guys! Talbis Iblis won't be showing here due to not passing censorship."

The director has yet to comment on the subject.


The movie was originally scheduled to play in Brunei theatres on 20 October.

The film, starring Azira Shafinaz, Nasha Aziz, and Zul Ariffin, revolves around a woman, who, after staying with a midwife to give birth to her child out of wedlock, finds out that the midwife has her own evil plan for the baby.
