15 Mar – The new Ryan Reynolds Netflix movie, "The Adam Project" has finally premiered, but it is safe to say that it wasn't Ryan Reynolds who gets the most attention.
Viewers who have watched the Shawn Levy-directed film would all agree that the true star of the movie would be young actor Walker Scobell, who not only shone in his first ever movie role, but was able to emulate Reynolds' mannerism to a T.
The director explained that Scobell's ability was due to the fact that he is a fan of "Deadpool" and has been watching the movie since he was seven.
"So, he shows up day one, he somehow knows exactly the way Ryan would say everything – and Ryan and I are like, 'What is happening? Why do you know every inflection, every pause, every talk-fast, every talk-slow?' And Walker's like, 'I can recite 'Deadpool 2', you want me to?' And we were like, '[Expletive] off.' Cut to he recites all of the movie, including like screen direction. So, this kid coincidentally was brilliant but also a mega-fan, so his intuitive sense of the Ryan-ish way to play things was baked in," he said.
The director also added that he need not worry about anything relating to the young actor, that Scobell was able to speak just like Ryan would.
Those who are interested to see the young actor in action would be happy to know that he is also currently filming the upcoming Paramount movie, "Secret Headquarters".
