11 Mar – Sorry, DC fans. Warner Bros recently announced that it has rescheduled the release dates for some of its movies, with half of them being its upcoming DC superhero films.

Some of the delays are as follows:

- "DC League of Super-Pets" from 20 May to 29 July 2022.
- "The Flash" from 4 November 2022 to 23 June 2023.
- "Aquaman 2" from 16 December 2022 to 17 March 2023
- "Wonka" from 17 March 2023, to 15 December 2023.
- "Black Adam" from 29 July to 21 October 2022

On the other hand, "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" has been moved up from 2 June 2023 to 16 December 2022, while the sequel to Jason Statham's "Meg 2: The Trench" has been set for 4 August 2023.

According to Dateline, the delay was partly caused by the VFX (visual effects) logjam that many post-production effects houses must work on, and are currently facing delay due to COVID-19. It is noted that most of these movies are packed with visual effects, with "The Flash" alone requiring 2,500 VFX shots.

"Aquaman 2" will be released in March next year

"Shazam! Fury of the Gods" will be released earlier on 16 December 2022
