5 Oct - Whoopi Goldberg wants people, especially film critics, to stop focusing on people's looks, after one made a claim that she wore a fat suit in the new Emmet Till biopic, "Till". The EGOT winner recently spoke on the issue on her show, "The View", saying that a young film critic for a magazine wrote about being distracted by her fat suit. "I don't really care how you felt about the movie, but you should know that was not a fat suit, that was me. That was steroids. Remember last year? I assume you don't watch the show [The View], or you would know that was not a fat suit," she explained.
The new movie, "Till", which tells the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley, who sought justice for her 14-year-old son Emmett Till's brutal lynching in 1955, has Goldberg playing Alma Carthan, the mother of Mamie Till.
