11 Mar – Zoe Kravitz recently took to social media to clarify previous comments she made about her audition for "The Dark Knight Rises". The actress, who was previously reported to have been rejected to audition for Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the Christopher Nolan 2012 film, stressed on Instagram Story that it was not for the said role.
Kravitz stressed that she did not mention this to point any fingers or to make anyone seem racist, especially Nolan or anyone on the casting team, but simply giving an example of what it was like to be a woman of colour in the industry at the time. "Again, this was any years ago when words like that were thrown around very casually and although I'm very glad that we are attempting to evolve - let's all calm down - as well as fact check before we write things that are untrue," she added.
