18 Dec – Despite the lacklustre response to his performance in Netflix's "The Archies", luck continues to be on Agastya Nanda's side as he is cast in his first ever big screen project, "Ekkis". The actor, who is also the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, will be playing the lead in the Sriram Raghavan movie, which will revolve around military officer and Param Vir Chakra recipient Arun Khetarpal.
A source stated, "2023 was an eventful year for Agastya Nanda as not just did he make his acting debut with The Archies, but also signed on for a Sriram Raghavan film. Agastya has attended several acting workshops with the Sriram and specially trained acting coaches to polish his body language and step into the shoes of India's most celebrated war hero, Arun Khetarpal."
Agastya will be preparing himself for the role throughout December and the first month of 2024, as well as doing workshops for the role before filming begins. For the time being, the director will be working on his next film, "Merry Christmas", starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi.
